Safari for Mac
If you’re like me, you keep a regular set of tabs open in Safari (some of mine include Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, WashingtonPost, Facebook, Tweetdeck, YouTube, Netflix, and more). That’s a lot a horizontal space across the top of the browser! And a lot of scrolling right to find the new tabs you’ve opened over time.
Pinning tabs solves this problem—plus it keeps your favorites on the tab bar permanently for fast access.
To pin a tab, right-click (or Control+click) on an open tab and select “Pin Tab.” The new tab is now a small square with the logo of the site. Clever.
Tomorrow, I’ll show you how you can use the keyboard to navigate quickly from tab to tab.
